Chateau Valandraud 2004

Full red-black in colour, with a soft, warm, enticing aroma, slightly more meaty in style than is usual for Valandraud. On the palate, this is dense, textured, sappy and serious, with a new, almost peppery depth creeping into the wine and an impressive tannic sheath. Not an unripe berry anywhere in here. This looks set to be impressively classical St Emilion given at least a decade's storage
