Chateau Mouton-Rothschild 2003

Dark black-red. Sweet, elegant, almost floral scents: accessible and open, yet full of sexy, head-turning refinement. The palate has great wealth, depth and power, with remarkable acidity, fruit purity and fine-grained tannins. Stylistically, it is sensually arresting -- you just couldn't walk on by. Not quite the length of Margaux, Latour or Ausone, yet the harmony and disposition more than compensates.
